Are your kids as big "Happy Feet" fans as mine? It seems like that cute movie about a group of penguins is playing at least once a week at our house and the rest of the time, the kids are waddeling aournd the house pretending to be some of those arctic birds and acting out scenes from the movie.

This past weekend we took it one step further by making little puppets that look very much like penguins. They kids have had a blast playing with them and putting on little shows for thier dad and me.

Here are the instructions on how to make a penguin puppet. All you need are some basic supplies including a black sock some felt and a few buttons and the penguin puppet fun can begin. It was so easy and fun to make, I can’t believe we haven’t tried this before. We’ll definitely be making more puppets, just not sure what animal or character the next few will be.

This makes it not only much easier to do but you’re likely to find that the changes become permanent. And after all, thats what we want so that your time is better spent.
