Once Upon a Dream

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Safety.  It’s such a necessary part of life.  We all have to know we are protected from harm, no matter what may happen.  When we close our eyes at night, it would be good if we would picture ourselves falling asleep in a playpen.  We would then understand what it means to be safe.  We would know that no one can harm us while we are in our protective place.  There are no monsters that can attack us, no wild animals will find us, no strangers will come to frighten us.  We are safe, complete, comforted, ready for anything that happens while we sleep.

My Fabulous Trip to Tokyo and Their Famous Hot Springs

Friday, February 27th, 2009

My boyfriend surprised me with an International vacation last year that I will near forget.  If I never go anywhere else outside of the United States I will be happy.  He took me to Tokyo for fun and sightseeing.  We saw many fascinating tokyo hotels and the one we stayed in was amazing.  I never knew that Tokyo was so beautiful for such a big city.  He took me to tour the hot springs in the surrounding areas of Tokyo and that was the highlight of my trip.  I thought those areas were beautiful, remote and peaceful.  When we returned I asked him how he thought he could top that vacation and he told me to hang on to my hat.

Enhance Your Home With Luxury Draperies

Friday, February 27th, 2009

The easiest way to improve the looks in your home is by getting some luxury draperies. There are few advantages you will benefit from if you choose to go this way. First, you do not need much money to make this happen. Other decorative elements can cost a lot of money, but curtains are one of most affordable. The other thing is, you will not need someone to install them for you. They are quite easy to set up and you can do it all by yourself, making them look just the way you want. And the best thing of all, you can make them to be a focal point of the room or to blend in the atmosphere you already have in your home. The possibilities are endless and you will have a lot of fun with luxury draperies, I am sure of it.

The way my aunt wants to power her home

Friday, February 27th, 2009

My Aunt Lacy has lived in Eastern Oregon for the past five years. Both her and her husband raise horses for a living. Her husband Ronny retired from the financial industry and they ended up out there. Last year they started to look into the possibility of wind power as a way to meet their power needs. My aunt went online and tried to find information on how to make wind turbine power. She ended up finding lots of good information that I’m sure she will be able to use very soon. I plan on going out there and see what they do.

How to build a train horn

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Use these steps to build a train horn. First, gather the materials to create a mold of the trumpets. Common builds for a train horn are three and four trumpet horns. Ask a professional for assistance to mold your train horn to your specifications, also make sure it fits your truck or SUV. The size of the actual trumpet is important, a larger diameter gets a deeper horn sound, more like the actual locomotives. Make sure to use some metals that will withstand the test of time. Nothing is worse than driving down the road and having your train horn melt from your exhaust pipe.

Manufactured Homes – The New Way To Build

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

After the big hurricane hit and literally wiped out our home, we knew we wanted to rebuild our home and still live in the same area.  Both my husband and I have grown up in that area, and we want our children to get to grow up with the good people and the good things that are there.  So, when it came to rebuilding our home, we opted to build one of those manufactured homes, rather than do things the traditional way.  We mainly did it this way because we were going to be able to get the house finished a bit faster than if we did it the old way.

But Today When I Came Home I Could Not Believe It

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

I look at my neighbors house everyday. All the dirt around the bottom of the house, the moss on one side, stains on the roof, and the dirty gutters. But today when I came home, I couldn’t believe it. I had to take a second look. That old house that used to be the eyesore of the neighborhood, was the best looking one. Then I took a look at my own house and was almost embarrassed. That day I asked my neighbor what he had done. He told me he called a professional pressure washing company. He found them by searching for house cleaning St Louis. I made the same call that day.
