I am thrilled to learn salsa dancing. Me and my friends are getting in the wave of learning how to dance salsa. What we like about dancing salsa is the rhythm that goes with it. Salsa dancing rhythm can be fast, about 100 beats per minute and it can reach its fastest beat at 140 beats per minutes. But the average rhythm of salsa is typically between 80-120. The percussion rhythm in salsa is based on the Clave Rhythm. The conga drum provides the groovy rhythm of salsa. The upbeat rhythm of salsa is played either with a clave or without the clave.
