Always Keep Your Fire Equipment Handy
Something that you learn when you work in any type of manufacturing plant, is where the fire equipment is at all times. Sure, I’ve worked for years in the manufacturing work place in plants all around the country, and through all of that time, I’ve only had to actually use the fire equipment twice. As a mechanic, I have personally made it a habit to have a fire extinguisher with me at all times when I’m working on machines. Who knows when you are going to need one, and I have learned that it is far better to have one handy, then to have to run and find one.
