Attending One of Fuad El-Hibri Lectures
I was fortunate enough to be in the audience for one of Fuad El-Hibri lectures. His lecture was about the difficulties his company has making and marketing his products overseas. He outlined six areas of risk. The risk ranged from export/import regulations, to politics abroad and at home. He also discussed the financial issues that arise from each area of risk. I found myself engrossed in everything he was talking about. I did not think I would be all that interested. However, when he was done, I wanted to lecture to last for another hour. I also found myself wanting to change my major. I was thoroughly impressed.
