Facts about Virginia Living Wills

Virginia Living Wills enable you to specify what medical care you wish to have in case you become terminally ill or permanently incapable of doing anything.  However the living will created by you has to meet many requirements in order to be considered legal. According to the state law you must be at least 18 years of age and of sound mind to create a living will. The will should be in writing duly signed and dated by you and there should be two competent witnesses. However, the witnesses chosen should not be related to you by blood or marriage, nor he can be your physician, your beneficiary or any one from whom you have taken a debt.
