There are two things you can do to make money in network marketing. You can sell your products at retail to customers outside the business, and keep the profit. You can also sponsor other people and earn a percentage of everything they purchase for themselves or resell to others. If your goal is to build a long-term residual with your network marketing business, you will want to focus on sponsoring. Retailing products is fine, but there is only so much time in your day and making a living selling products is highly dependent on how much time you can spare. In contrast, by sponsoring and building a group you can leverage your time and make much more money.
