  I have been waiting for the economy to pick up and it has a little here and there. But not like I was hoping it would. I’ve been taking guitar lessons for about a year, but lately I’ve been frustrated with the quality of sound with my old amp. I asked my guitar teacher for a good recommendation and he said that Swamp Donkey amps were some of the best around, and they don’t cost an arm and a leg. I took his advice and got one and I am amazed at the difference in sound. With my old amp there was a constant buzzing and crackling sound in the background, but I don’t have that problem now. The sound is so crystal clear it’s unbelievable. I will never use another brand of amp.

My college roommate invited me for a visit to her hometown during our Thanksgiving break.  My family and home state is to far for me to get back home for the holiday. This gives me a chance to get away, eat a home cooked meal and be surrounded by a family, even though it’s not mine.  Beats staying in the dorm all by myself.  We attended Thanksgiving services at one of the Kerrville churches.  I asked if this church was their home church, my roommate explained that her family had been attending this church for a few months and were planning making their statement of faith at this church.
