Chiropractic Care – Warm Up
A Chiropractor in Murfreesboro TN recently suggested that stretching and “warming up” before physical labor or exercise is going to keep your back healthy. I wanted to pass along this information because, let’s be honest, how many of us really warm up or stretch before we get going? According to him this is a very important step to maintaining proper back health and eliminating or preventing serious back pain. I know as a child I was always told to stretch and while playing sports, we usually did before we started practice but I never really knew why. Still, even now, I find myself stretching before physical activity but I still don’t know why. Maybe our next post will be more about the science of keeping your muscles warm and stretching so we can understand the steps we take to eliminate back pain so our chiropractors don’t have such a hard time with us.
