Health Benefits of Walking Include Less Disease

My best friend Angie told me yesterday that we should start to do some exercise. We both are 42 and have not done any sports for years.

I told her that I did not want to do any vigorous exercise. I knew that she liked jogging, but I did not want to start with such a demanding activity. But I am aware on the health benefits of walking. I know that walkers have less incidence of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and other killer diseases.

So we agreed to walk at least twice a week. I think 3 times would be even better, but this would be a good start. I am looking forward to it!
