Keys to maintain a healthy food habit
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A large balanced breakfast is the key to a healthy food habit. During the rest of the day whenever you are hungry refrain from ordering large meals. Eat as little as possible; however eat several times a day instead of a few large meals. The idea is never to eat too much at a time. Instead eat little and every 2 hours to ensure a high metabolism. When eating out always have a friend to accompany you. Eating with friends ensure that you will stay within limits. It is actually a great idea to socialize your eating times as much as possible. This will ensure that you will chew properly and not merely gobble mindlessly. Even for children, social eating helps in developing good eating habits. Split food with friends. When ever you have cravings for a mid night meal, drink water to check whether it is food or water that you need.
