Maintaining balanced meals can help you reduce cholesterol
The Inuit Eskimos are known to have very low levels of cholesterol. The reason is they consume a high quantity of omega 3 fatty acids in their diet in the form of fish. Omega 3 fatty acids help in the prevention of bad cholesterol. These are usually the ones that cause heart attacks, anxiety, blood pressure and other complications. Balanced meals contain high amounts of fish rich in this omega 3 fatty acids, or good cholesterol, fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables in balanced meals also serve as a way to provide a large amount of anti-oxidants which cleans the body and rejuvenates it. Apples for example have Flavonoids which prevents the formation of asthma and diabetes. Avocado is another good choice as a fruit which is extremely good for preventing cholesterol formations in the body. It contains monounsaturated fatty acids. Bananas have a high level of potassium which helps maintain the normal blood pressure of the body.
