Some Furnace Filters have Arrows to Assist with Installation

I was in the utility room this morning to replace the whole house water filter and thought that I should check the filter in the furnace while I was there. I located the compartment where the furnace filters go and pulled out the screen. I then took a new one out of the box that we keep nearby and started to put it in. The arrows on the filter caught my eye which was good as I was about to put it in the wrong way.
