Birthday Planter
My dad and his wife came over for my birthday last week. They brought me a rose plant in a beautiful planter. The planter had daisy’s painted on the sides. I knew it would look great on my front porch, and it did. We grilled steaks and had fried shrimp. My husband put the heater on in the pool so it was perfect. We ended the day with a chocolate cake. It was a lovely day and I was sad to see them leave. My dad is an accountant and never seems to have time for family. It doesn’t help that my birthday is two weeks before April 15.
