Get college credit for independent studies
What I particularly liked about online college is the number of practical classes that are available. There are computing classes that you can actually get a degree in. When I first got my computer, I had to purchase several books on how to operate it. I had to purchase books on how to use certain software packages. With online college, these books that I read for my own personal use was reading that I probably could have gotten college credits for. Intro to computers is what I started with then I moved myself on to more advanced books. Imagine getting college credits for independent studies.
