Meaning and Various Forms of Entertainment
The term “entertainment” as it is defined in the MSN Encarta online dictionary is the “various ways of amusing people, especially by performing for them.” Nevertheless, not all acts that give you with amusement can be called as entertainment. Different acts like playing your most loved sports and adventures and reading some literatures are frequently included in entertainment but these activities are more appropriate to be termed as recreation.
There are several means to be entertained and amused. Such forms are the following: cinema, circus , comedy, dance, games and musicand many more. Other famous and common forms and acts of entertainment are the following broadway theatre, leisure, radio, television and magic.
