Adding a Campervan to Insurance
My husband and I recently got a campervan and I went online to add it to my insurance policy. I let my husband drive it to the local shop to have everything checked out the next morning thinking we were covered. Three days later, my insurance company contacts me to tell me they don’t cover campervans. I was scrambling to find someone who did offer campervan insurance. It was very frustrating as they should have alerted me as soon as I attempted to add it to my policy. I’m just thankful he didn’t have an accident or anything. That would have destroyed us financially.
