Kids Discuss National Debt at School

After hearing us talk about the US National Debt Clock and asking for an explanation, our children, especially the two older ones, have become fascinated with this huge number of more than fourteen trillion dollars. One of our children asked his teacher if she knew our national debt was this high, which led to a classroom discussion of the National Debt Clock and how much money our government owes. I think it’s good to get children involved in discussions about money.
