I never end a week without going to a mall! Even I do not purchase groceries, I still went there as it is the venue where my friends and I usually hang out. We chose the place above all other else due to its cool environment, easy access to restaurants and fast foods, and most of all, the presence of theaters. It’s truly an all-in-one place, where we don’t have to walk another mile just to buy another item. One Saturday afternoon, I arrived at the mall and saw no signs of my friends on the fast food where we regularly met. I called them on their phone, knowing that they were just on the second floor, particularly at the consumer protection group office for some dispute. I followed them upstairs and was able to hear the whole story. They just purchased a PSP that afternoon while waiting for me and fortunately, had discovered immediately that it was a secondhand. They went to the store to return it back, but the store would not allow it anymore. They insisted on a “no return no exchange” policy that arise to their argument. Since they could not settle the issue there, my friends resorted to the protection group. They were confident enough that they could have their money back due to the consumer protection regulations, which basically protects customers like them. After an hour, a decision was made. The store wanted to replace the device, but my friends didn’t like the idea anymore. My friends asserted that they don’t trust the qualities of its product anymore, that’s why they decided not to have a replacement. Well, they were able to get their money back and everything was settled that day.
