The Dirt On Planting Great Plants

I like to refer to “dirt” in this article, because that’s what I’m talking about!  A lot of people talk about sun exposure, precipitation, etc. when it comes to growing great plants; however, I’d like to discuss the soil itself.  The dirt is so important.  What is the history?  Was agriculture on the land beforehand, or was it just a field with cattle grazing?  I know that Legacy Wholesale (SITE MAP) considers everything when considering land for purchase.  Sometimes if you look far enough back into the land records, you can learn some interesting info that might effect your crop yield.  If someone used the site as a dumping site for toxic chemicals (before stringent environmental standards were implemented), it could greatly enhance your plant yeild by remedying the situation.
