What If You You Saw Turtle Eggs
Many questions we get are about what to do when a turtle lays eggs in a yard or garden in a location that is not safe. Eggs laid in an indoor or outdoor turtle enclosure may be accidentally (or intentionally) dug up by other turtles. And you may find an egg on top of the ground or in water which can be a good egg. We retrieve our turtle eggs because we are impatient and we want to be sure we have the babies when they hatch. We also want to protect the eggs from harm including another turtle choosing the same nest site and we want to provide ideal conditions for the eggs to incubate.
