When Did You First See The Matrix?
When was the first time you saw The Matrix? You know, that obscure little film starring Keanu Reeves where the human race is enslaved by machines and used as batteries?
I didn’t actually see the movie until I was in college. We had a cheap $2 theatre in the college town I lived in, and when I said I hadn’t seen the movie my friends were appalled. Yes, my friends and I are geeks.
I remembered seeing the previews for the movie a few months earlier, and thought it would be fun to go see. However, my girlfriend at the time said there was absolutely no way she was going to go see that movie with me so I let the issue go.
Once I did see that movie, however, I became a huge fan, and even started my own website about it.
