Big Crack in A Little Shack
We bought a little shack last summer. It was a very hot market for sellers so we took what we could get. I’ve been doing some reno work on it and find that the foundation has some very large cracks. One has about an inch difference leaning inward. Is this something that we could go after the seller for? We have a Property Disclosure Statement from him that all is good (to his knowledge) of course. I remember him mentioning a couple times later that maybe I’ll end up not keeping it and selling. I know damn well that he had to know about this. He lived in this house all his life and had covered it up behind walls that he built. Do we have any chance to recoop some $$ in court that it’s going to take to repair it? Thanks and any advice is appreciated.
