Additional Info On Ways To Stop Bullying

According to a 2010 survey, around 15 to 25% of kids are being bullied on a regular basis. This means there’s a good chance some of the kids you know, maybe even yours, are being bullied too. This is a serious issue so do not dismiss it as being something your kid has to go through by himself.

However, this doesn’t mean you should step in and take care of the bully by yourself. Simply because you believe your ways to stop bullying should work, it doesn’t mean the problem is solved. Also, remember that the bullying behavior doesn’t take place only in school. It’s also common within the community and in social media.

This is why in order to find effective and beneficial ways to stop bullying, parents and teachers should work together. First of all, to identify those kids that are or might be bullies, then find a practical plan to help them. Kids that usually have a bully behavior have more than just one problem and if you took matters into your own hands, you might have made things even worse for your kid. It’s also possible that your bully could be doing it just because he is too afraid of becoming a victim himself.
