Learn How Velcro Is Supposed To Work
There are a number of things that you will be able to use when it comes to putting together crafts and other things. One thing that I love to take advantage of over all of the rest is Velcro. This is a brand name for a type of Velcro dots and hooks and fasteners that are easy to install and will make it easy for you to make new things.
So how do these things work? These actually work much in the same way that certain plants will use as well. There are a few types of plant seeds that are held safely in a shell that will grab hold and stick to animal fur or clothes. Burs and spines are the most common of these.
Velcro works in much the same way. The most common to use are the Velcro fasteners. These are designed with two different sides. One side is rigid and has plastic hooks on it. The other is thinner and has loops of plastic. You will need to glue or sew each of the back sides to the surface of what you are trying to connect with each other.
The two will stick to each other firmly. You will be able to use this to seal something and keep closed or possibly even to connect something like a picture to a picture board. This is what makes them so great to use when you are trying to make crafts with your kids and need something quick and cheap that will connect them together.
