If you want a pet, but don’t want a huge animal in the home that could destroy furniture or have to be walked, then there are many options for you. Many parents are more accepting of having a pet turtle in the house as opposed to something that needs to be walked a certain time of day. Good turtle care is easy because you don’t need a great deal of space and they don’t eat much. It is a good pet for a small child, because it is so easy to care for a turtle and the child can have fun with it, too.
