How do you stop procrastination? By retraining yourself to take action at the moment an intent is formed in your mind. Suppose, for example, that you decide you want to become a private investigator. There will be many things that you’ll need to do, and you really may not have time to do them now, but putting off getting started becomes a habit of procrastination. It is better to immediately take the first step. Maybe that means calling the licensing authority just to ask what the requirements are. That could take just a few minutes of your time, and action creates its own momentum. The next day take another step, and so on. Do this with all of your goals to train yourself for success.
