Delivered When Promised
The day was stormy. The weather forecast predicted that the tornadic activity would continue well into the evening. That was bad news for me since I expected that the flowers I was sending to my wife for our anniversary wouldn’t be delivered until the weather cleared. It was policy for local deliveries to be suspended whenever weather was a factor. Since I was out of town on business, I couldn’t pick them up by myself, but the flower delivery in Calgary got there as promised. The owner took them by personally.
