As far as holiday destinations go, Benidorm in Costa Blanca, Spain, has to be up there as a favourite. It certainly ticks all the boxes when it comes to climate, location and activities. There’s plenty to see and do for people of all ages and persuasions. For holiday purposes, Benidorm can be divided into three major areas: Levante, The Old Town and Poniente. Each offers something a bit different. Levante is the major tourist hub of the city, with bars, restaurants and cheap Benidorm hotels in abundance. Poniente will offer a quieter beach experience if you’d prefer it. Meanwhile you can get a taste of the region’s history and culture with a wander around the old town.
